The FA CUP Third Round - 5/6/7 January *** Spoilers ***

Almost zero threat in that second half but all he needs is one chance

Rubbish second half performance but then we were playing with 10 men, how on earth Kagawa was on the pitch come the full time whistle is beyond me, everything he did in that second half was woeful (I wonder if Dortmund will have him back when we take Lewandowski?)

EDIT: Certainly didn't deserve to lose though, West Ham barely mustered an attack on our goal but walk away with two goals

Our defence is just so poor, I feel sorry for De Gea. Conceded so many goals where the defence doesn't even give him a chance to make a save.

I wonder how RvP feels going from carrying one team to another. I mean he's far more likely to win stuff with us but I'm surprised he bothers passing to his team mates at all.

Some nice passing in the first half but the side lacked balance, with both strikers dropping deep and no real width to use. Welbeck was the only real stand out in it for me. The second half we were awful, Kagawa in particular but the team as a whole looked lost for ideas and lacked the usual basic drive and effort. The substitutions were a little strange, I truly have no idea what has happened to Valencia but we might as well give him the season off because he's painful to watch at present.

There's pretty much always been someone carrying you according to some fans. Ronaldo, Rooney and now RVP.

When Ronaldo left half you so called fans whined about not being able to replace his goals only for the team to carrying on winning despite the whinging. The same is true now Rooney isn't at his best.

That's just what happens at great teams and clubs. Despite all the pessimism and bleating the team is still going to win the league and RVp will get player of the year. If RVP left for Barcelona another player would step up. Just like they have for the last 20 years at man united.

Yes this isn't the greatest side assembled in the last 20 years and in football manager you can assemble a better bunch of players but still there isn't a side that will touch you this year in the title and they have spent money on assembling a football manager team.

When you actually do go through a proper dip and are out of the top 4 you will be on suicide watch.

Too many players in the Utd team that were being carried imo

Kagawa just didnt really get into the match, but he is just getting back to match fitness after 2 months out (or so), so give him time. Scholes giving stupid free-kicks away and is at leaast partially to blame imo for not closing JC down for the 1st goal. I love his passing, but the rest of his game doesnt make up for it any more and thats why the team lost a lot of the forward motion after 30 minutes or so because Clev cant do it on his own.

Welbeck was just utter **** for majority of the match. Time and time again Rafael's passing was the wrong strength and gave the ball away, but he played well defensively and got in some good positions for a winger lol.

Smalling and Evans did well, and there were a number of near misses which should have tested JJ a lot more than actually occured. WHU were worthy of 2 goals, but they were lucky Utd were not more accurate as well. They got a lot of the 50/50 decisions too (even without considering the blatant hand ball)

I was wrong about RVP when he was at Arsenal, he's far better than I thought he actually was. His goal today and touch just gets better the more times I see it.
