Not long till our KO, Also is it me or is there less FA cup games on TV this year? (I mean Freeview as in ITV4 etc) I have Sky seems none on that but dont have ESPN as its a rip off if your on Sky
 
Does anyone have an idea as to what's going on with Gillingham V Stoke? I caught the tale end of a news report saying something along the lines of it could be called off because Gillingham either don't have the funds, or are refusing to pay for the policing at the match?

Why can't Kolo and Yaya just get a plane from Manchester on Sunday night direct to Abu Dhabi, considering the influence we have just ban any planes until they get there :p
 
yay, a weekend off from the football! 12 games without a win, been quite looking forward to a weekend where we wont lose a game!

It wasn't selected to be on TV and with Everton playing at home on the Saturday, we were given a choice of Sunday or today. I can only assume we decided on today so that we've got an extra couple of days to prepare for the first leg of the CC semi on Wednesday.

Our team apparantly, So KD what is the point of Carroll, Were not playing him tonight when he needs game time to build his confidence to score, Id also rather save Bellamy for City pff. I would have also given Doni this game, Swap Bellamy for Downing even though Downing has been poor its Oldham and then Bellamy could start vs City during mid week.

Kuyt for Carroll too but Carroll seems to be getting used in most bizzare ways =/

Gills normally have police free matches without any trouble as policing costs are high. However, the police always have the final say in whether or not the match can go ahead without their presence. On this occasion, due to the very, very, very bad blood between chairman Paul Scally and Tony Pulis, the police feel their presence is necessary for the game to go ahead and as such, said that it can't go ahead unless Gillingham pay a large policing fee.

Scally is unhappy, but has stumped up the cash, so the fixture goes ahead as planned.
