Wow.
Suddenly the pantomime theatricals played out by Kirchner the other night make complete sense.
They're limiting their citizens to spending no more than 230 dollars per day. So basically if you want to buy a new PC, you can't! You'd need to but one or two components per day and then build it at the end of the week.
I guess that's one way of controlling massive inflation.
My economics knowledge is lacking - what on earth could lead to such a rediculously low limit?
They're not limiting people spending money in shops and other retail locations. The measure affects activity in the stock and bond markets, investment funds and in the futures markets. Operations above the limit will have to be done through Argentine bank accounts that are authorized by the central bank.
Keep it up - it just makes more people look at your views as nonsense when you give no credibility to your 'refutations'. Refute facts or go home.
To all free thinkers - search "David Duke" on youtube.
perhaps we can fight Denmark over the Faroe Islands?
I doubt they would deploy Apaches there, they would only be of much use if we wanted to retake the islands rather than simply defend them. They are used for busting armoured vehicles and attacking fortified enemy positions, bunkers, gun emplacements and general close support ground attack work. So they would be running off HMS Ocean most likely, you could also run them off Bulwark and Albion I imagine. They aren't defensive weapons, they are offensive.

You do know the Angentine Navy's most powerful ship is a Type 42 destroyer built in the UK in 1976 and on its last legs.
Their air force only has around 20 serviceable combat aircraft. Their neighbours are of similar.
Sorry, but it is true, ONE Type 45 destroyer could take out the entire Argentine naval and air force combat force.
Argentina's foreign minister has accused the UK of sending a nuclear-armed submarine to the South Atlantic, after making an official complaint to the UN over the Falklands dispute.
Hector Timerman demanded that the British confirm the location of nuclear submarines in the region.
But UK officials said the accusations of militarisation were "absurd".
UN chief Ban Ki-moon earlier called on both sides to avoid an "escalation" in tensions over the Falkland Islands.
The two countries went to war in 1982 over the British overseas territory.
Mr Timerman told a news conference at the UN in New York that the UK was "militarising the region", repeating accusations made by Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner earlier this week.
"Argentina has information that, within the framework of the recent British deployment in the Falklands, they sent a nuclear submarine with the capacity to transport nuclear weapons to the South Atlantic," Mr Timerman said.
He did not elaborate on the information, but said the vessel was Vanguard-class, a group that carries Trident nuclear missiles.
If China/Russia had supplied them with any of their advanced anti-ship missiles our high tech gear could end up on the seabed rather quickly.
Lol at the idea Argentina has any clue where the Vanguards are deployed to
Why haven't all the conspiracy folk jumped on the "links" between 82 and 2012?
Conservative government now as then!
