Sorry about the holy thread revival... 
Just seen this and I thought it was pretty good, then again I did like the other two. I'd say this one was level with the first, with the second just behind them.
You can't really expect an oscar winning performance, nor a good story - although I don't think the story was the worst by a long way.
Maybe a 4th with all three of the main characters from the three films?

I refuse to watch it purely based on the fact they put a skyline engine in a '67 Mustang
Took it out from work and watched it. Bar lord of the rings and harry potter, ive never been so bored in my life. The last one had a range of nice car, but not this one, it was the same cars all the way through.
The jap crap in the stang just finished it off. A stang is a beautiful car, that has a lovely V8 rumble, and they put a skyline engine in it, now thats just plain offensive TBH
