** THE FIRST FREESYNC MONITOR ARRIVES AT OcUK!! **

Very true man am quite blown away tbh.. I thought this upscale DSR or SVR @1440p gives you 1440p IQ I was very wrong.

You know what's also very good about BenQ is its 1to1 scaling of other resolution like 1080p on this looks just the same as on my native 1080p display.

4K->1440P via DSR actually works surprisingly well while its no substitution for the real thing having a 4K panel side by side with the Swift I'm surprised how much detail it is able to preserve.

What picture setting you using? I find without tweaking the standard setting to be quite good..
You tried the motion blur reduction yet? Thing is superb be interesting if Freesync works with that setting.

Also last thing what happens if you select 144hz 1440p..
Been told it's driver issue just want my mind at rest.

I have not done any tweaking just yet.

Not tried motion blur.

144hz 1440p is a no no. Flickers all over the show.

I love the stand but I might be force to mount it on my monitor arms as it is a little too close and I like my keyboard away from me more.

It is on my Monitor arm at a distance and it is a joy.

I was a little too close for a 27in!

I have never seen a ROG Swift in person but if it anything like this then it is one hell of a monitor.

I never understand to option for Motion Blur, why not have it on all the time.

Yeah I received this monitor yesterday. I am in love with it, but I thought it was a faulty panel when I couldn't enable 144hz. After seeing Scramz saying he has the same issue and doing some research I assume its the AMD drivers to blame? I am running an R9 290x

Also on the point of motion blur, when I enable it, the monitor seems to dull. Is this normal? Sorry if its an obvious question, I havent used BenQ before, I had the 120hz Samsung

Yeh, amd drivers. When I first got my 4K monitor it wouldn't display on the DP cable @ 60Hz, just a flickering mess, was drivers on my 290, driver update fixed it, actually as I recall I had to go back to an earlier driver and that fixed it. Have since updated to 14.12 omega drivers and its fine. That problem was only with Amd drivers not Nvidia. :)

Got my mini dp to dp cable, 144hz is a no go. I noticed in the other thread Carta you can get it to work at 143hz? How did you manage that. Custom resolution?

Yeah I used ToastyX CRU http://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU to set a custom res.

One of my main gripes is that Dying Light, when running native res, forces 144hz which flickers like mad, so I either play windowed and lose some of the screen space or window 1080p. Wish AMD would sort their drivers out.
