What are field & Flower like? Tempted to try one of their one off boxes for a spring BBQ.
A thread for posting quality ingredients, new foods you've not had before, slightly out of the ordinary buys or things you would recommend others try. It would also be interesting to see any kitchen gadgetry/tools/utensils too if you've purchased something new and fancy.
So I'll get us started:

I've had the terrine before and it is excellent. The jerky is a brand I've never tried before so thought I'd give it a whirl. I just went for the more simple flavoured ones but they had quite a few different flavours, smoked, curry, chilli etc.
I don't think we have one of these threads already, if we have point me in the right direction![]()
Doing a roast for 10 people on Sunday.
Oooh babyDoing a roast for 10 people on Sunday. So picked up a 6kg fore rib of beef.
I marinated a pork sholder last night with brown sugar garlic and various spices its in the slow cooker now on a bed of onion and 1 litre of coke. Going go cook it for 8 hours and shrewd the pork. Mix with a nice bbq sauce and some diced onion and back in the slow cooker for a couple of hours.
That beef looks so nice. If you don't mind me asking how much was it?
Came in at about £115. Not cheap, but seeing as it'd being divided by 10 people who are all chipping in, it works out at just over a tenner a head. It's a pretty lean cut, and with a bit more fat on it it could have added an extra £15 or so.
