Far as im aware you can only record the afterburner overlay with the built in afterburner record function or fraps, or similar screen recording software, nearly sure raptr is set up differently to avoid the fps hit of a screen cap type program.

Tried that and all it did was disable recording (Tomb Raider) full stop. It is starting to look like I will only be able to record in 1080P 30fps, as Raptr is ****

For what I do, I need to display frames and everything else what AB shows. I was hoping Raptr would cover that

Just tried Raptr and it recorded MSI AB overlay? upload video now.

That was full screen, Instead me uploading to youtube I just played it back in Windows video player.

ha, while we are here and putting things into perspective.... My keyless entry and button start stopped working on my A8, so £1400 later it is now fixed! A GPU is cheap in comparison.

Someone asked support for the same question Greg here is the answer.. It seems to be a compatibility issue with some games maybe?

Currently there is no method to do this. Due to how both our software and MSI Afterburner/FRAPS hooks into the game, it can cause several issues. We noticed several issues with FRAPS especially where it was causing either the game, or Raptr, to crash. So unfortunately we had to blacklist them so that we don't hook into those (and thus, not showing their displays).

We do apologize for this, but we believed that preventing potential crashes was very important. Did you want to use Afterburner and/or FRAPS for the FPS only, or were there other features you liked in it?

We understand that the FPS can be very important for some people, especially if they want to record it. We're quickly advancing the Plays.tv application and Plays.tv within Raptr. I'll place your request in the user feedback and we'll discuss if that could ever be implemented. Thank you for the feedback and we apologize that we're unable to assist you more.

Must be something to do with Raptr having its own overlay, I would thought disabling this though would work but seeing it stops recording is pointless Haa.

So maybe they need to sort other way around letting you record without the overlay, it should work then.

Far has I know shadowplay don't have overlay? This will be reason behind why this records afterburner overlay..

Can see why it's a pain for you though

I've got the money ready for one but I'm not going to order until A, I hear from others on here that the stock does not have whistling pumps and B, If it takes too long I may still go with a Ti.
