The FX is a compute (DX12) monster, that's for sure!! I'd still take a TX at the same price though ;)

If you've got a picture at all it's probably not the issue - but for anyone else reading what you need is a DisplayPort to DVI adaptor not the other way round. Active adapters are not reversible normally so the order matters.

Thanks guys. Turns out its the cable thats the issue as i can connect it to my 4k tv no issue via displayport. Weird though as the cable is a Displayport to dvi active which should be good for 1600p at 60hz. Either its faulty or somethings not right.

Unfortunately the card emits an unbearable coil whine and weird crackiling/grinding noise in games (particularly in menu screens). Ive heard coil whine before but this is incredibly loud and is something else! I also have my doubts about whether the card is not a resale. Its going back. Dissapointing day.

For me the TX is a great all-rounder and a card built for today :)

The FX seems to be looking more toward the future with its sheer horsepower :cool:

I don't care tbh, I'll be running Pascal/Arctic Islands by the time DX12 games hit anyhow :p :D

I'd send this 980Ti back but with the price difference and returns/delivery costs, I'd be about £100 worse off my original order.

I had the Furys on pre order £510. Kicking myself now even though Stulid advised me to go the route I have taken. I just fancied a pair.

Never been so disappointed on new GPU day.:D

Ti is still a cracking card :)

We all fancy a pair :eek: :D

Just hoping its not a whiner, especially after all this **** on ive just had :p
