The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

Gona be RMA'ing i think, can't be doing with it EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE when im browsing. :(

LOL! That high frequency whine is annoying as hell. I've just got an RMA on mine also.. I really liked the look of it in my system and it ran great in most games but that eeeeeeeeeeee while idling drove me bonkers.

just been blasting GTA V, couldn't hear it when i was playing that, frames seem all over the place though, and not as smooth as it was on my 290, seemed a bit stutter, as one minute i could be belting aloing at 70+, then it would crash to 48/50, stutter split second, then frames shot up again.

It's a bug with GTA V, pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete and minimising the game and then going back to it fixes it.

I've been getting it since switching to Windows 10, but it was fine on 8.1.

What about the pump whine?
Still seems endemic, I hope you pass these user issuers along to someone senior at AMD just so they know the problem in retail is not yet resolved.

Its a joke that there's still stock doing the rounds with this issue, barely any stock to begin with and what stock there is its a total crap shoot if you get one that doesn't howl. =/

Im on Win7 still.

I'll have to RMA, its horrendous, i tell you what it sounds like, when your standing outside a wood shed, and someone inside with the circular saw going, cutting some wood. :(

Anyone tell me how it works with these guys, as not used em for a while, do i have to arrange the send back, or do they arrange for it to be picked back up by courier ?

I think they can arrange to pick it up, better asking in the cs section.

Yeah thats where the sounds coming from, i posted in the Component Technical Support section, is that the right one ?

Its ear piercing now tbh :( , im gona have to get my 290 back in.

Yeah should get an answer soon enough, or go to the main page of the site and do an online chat to get an rma sorted faster.

I wonder how many sales amd have ****ed away due to cheaping out on the pump unit? The card was launched in June, amd stated the pumps weren't an issue and it had been sorted, now we're in august and still barely any stock and pump whine still an issue.
