Off topic mate, get a Nokia Lumia windows phone. Preferably one with a carl zeiss lens camera. A phone built round the camera.

I was looking at a Samsung S6 Edge as it has a 16 mega pixel camera.

Carl Zeiss has a nice ring to it though as I used to do photography and had a couple of Mamiya RZ67s with a good set of lenses.

That would be a great name for a graphics card "RZ 67".

They do go over 100c in use, this could cause your system to go into melt down from the bottom up.

Crysis 3 1080P @ Very High SMAA X 1

Runs really nice some drops below 60 some highs but average around 60FPS, with V-Sync on it's nice. Memory usage around 1400MB.

Highs 80+
Average 60
Lows 50

Have you tried raising the AA @1080p, I think this is something that HBM could help with.

I'm lost? Why would you buy a fury x for a 60hz monitor and have vsync on?

My 780 does 60 fps at 1080p

What does vsync do.....

The Sony RX100 MK1 is now under £300 with cashback. Has a 20MP 1" sensor with a Carl Zeiss Sonnar 28-100mm/f1.8 to f4.9 lens.

I had a Rollei 3.5F for a while - lovely camera,but getting film processed was a pain.

You can not beat the quality of medium format.

Photographers still use RX 67s even though they don't make them anymore. Where I got used to them I used to use a RZ 67 like most people used 35mm.

I felt bad selling my Rollei 3.5F,as it was a lovely piece of engineering and the Planar lens might have been decades old but it was blooming awesome.

Having said,the D600 I know use is not too bad!!

But do want an upgrade my Canon S95 compact,so not sure whether to get that RX100 or a Fuji XE1/XE2. First world problems,LOL!

Photography is a strange technology where pics taken 100 years ago on ancient 10 x 8 cameras are far superior to what most people take today.

I have not got a Fury X in a PC yet but I would be very interested to see how one goes on Crysis 3 @1080p using 8XMSAA and maxed on the other settings.

I suspect it will do well.

Cannot wait - get to see some benchys - will you bench all for to get the single best clocker and then use that in you're tests for the benchmarks or just jump in and get bench-marking on 4xcrossfire ?

I will test them one at a time in a spare PC.
