The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

Lol more nVidia users post in this thread than actual Fury x owners... And this is an observation from some one who looking at investing in a 980Ti before anyone jumps on me.

Wish these green eyed people would just leave the AMD threads alone instead of posting their crap in them. I'm still interested in developments from the Fury X before i take the plunge on a 980Ti and it's some what irritating as well as amusing when seeing all the nVidia guys page after page posting crap.

After having my fx for a few weeks now I've got no complaints.

It's nice and quiet and doesn't go above 55 degrees now I've moved my fans around.

I've been working through older games in my library and it runs all those maxed out without breaking a sweat. Dying light and Witcher 3 run beautifully on the highest settings. Dying light seemed to average high 80's sometimes dropping to the 70's or going into the 90's from time to time. I've not checked Witcher 3 as I only got it yesterday but it's nice a smooth and looks amazing. This is all at 1440.

Since upgrading my processor and memory (8350 & 8gb to 5820k & 16gb) games do seem to be smoother, but I think I had an issue with the memory as it wouldn't boot if it was clocked at it's default speed.

No driver issues with windows 7 or any after upgrading to 10 .

I've read a lot of negativity about the fx but for playing games it's great.

Thanks for the feedback, quick question you may be able to answer. Do you play WOT or WOW, if so what type of frames are you getting(@ 1440), I know it CPU intensive but if you have either I would appreciate it.

Nice feedback, I thought Fury X was a great card. If mine hadn't had that pump fault I would have kept it. would have been ideal for my current build. Still unsure whether the Fury X that are in stock now are fixed or not.

Might try another one in the future when production / stock is better. Maybe the Nano for my boys PC.

Would HAVE. Would HAVE! Or at the least Would've. Sorry, pet peeve =(

Sooo what's happening to the RMA'd cards? Are they going back to the manufacturer for new pump fittings? I want another Fury X for my custom loop so I'm only interested in the card itself, not the AIO cooler...

I play WOT Stanners so can help, it's a werid game, any overclock on gpu and it'll crash, fps with everything maxed is about 60-70s averages.
