I'd personally send it back, you will be gutted if you get blocks fit them up and it was the card squealing not the pump

It's just a shame as the cards are fantastic, but they aren't without issues, had a known I'd be waiting this long for voltage control etc, I'd probably have two Ti's instead.

1550 o/c on the Core makes the Ti's fly man :cool:

Lol I bet bud, that's the thing though, performance on the Fury X is very strong, but as a package, it's just poor at the moment.

I'm going return the whining card and hopefully it's replaced by a nice quiet card, failing that I'm having a refund and selling the other.

I'll get two 980ti lightnings.

Just adds to the problems, you could get a quiet card then have it turn into a whiner a few weeks or months down the line. =/

Exactly. SUCH a bloody shame though, as that AiO unit does look great when working correctly. I'm still a bit shocked that it's developed it after time! Not heard of it before and a bit of a smack in the face imo

It's a massive smack in the face

I normally game with my headphones on, but i can't see how i would have failed to hear it before.

the thing is though it's only when the temps increase do i heard it as loud as in the clip i uploaded, with the system just on desktop all i can hear is the fans.

Nevermind, hopefully i'll get a decent replacement.

To be fair Dave, I think I'd be tempted to request a refund and wait for the X2! It's gotta be here soon, and I should imagine just before the release of Battlefront. They should have sorted all potential issues by then...

(unless AMD are still in their crazy 'we are high end' phase and priced it at £1.5k

)

Lol, i'd love to request a refund, but don't think i'm allowed outside of the 14 Day DSR period, just replacements AFAIK.

Would be great if it was, one card is plenty for 1440P.

Probably gonna be with my Furys for quite some time.. Unless the next cards on the smaller process are significantly quicker
