The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

Thanks bud but the local shop I bought the PSU from said they'll replace the PSU for me free of charge as good will type thing :)

Now it's just the loooonnngggg wait for the Asus Fury X to come back into stock with OCUK :(

Id push for a refund or a replacement of any of the other variants of the card. With the stock levels as they are (laughable) id say its probably better to try and get a refund.

Yes it a brand new build with skylake as my old rig was 4 years old. Asus maximus hero 8 with skylake 6700k, 16gigs of corsair ddr4 3000mhz, 850w psu. I will try those leaked drivers later in the evening. I have not got to play any games as it crashes straight away after getting into the main menu eg Witcher 3 after 20s in main menu either the game crashes or pc restarts itself... The random squares are appearing in normal windows net browsing and lots of drivers crashes. the fact that when I took it out of the system does not give me any trouble is worrying..

I had something similar with my Fury non X. Initially it seemed to solve itself after refitting the card but recurred. I suspect a memory fault, anyway I RMA'd the card and have bought another that is perfect. I have attached a picture of my problem below

Edit to add. I tried underclocking the core and the problem still occurred, unfortunately I didn't have anything to underclock the memory to check that but the machine was fine with other graphics cards and is now working perfectly with a different Fury

Hey dude,

this is exactly what mine does now maybe not as much as yours but very similar. I had by now tried all suggestions you guys had made and nothing worked so far. Is there anything else I can try before I speak to ocuk for RMA and wait another 2 months to get a new one..hopefully a good one..

I am gonna ask this, probably a stupid question but I am not so tech savvy. The cables that come from psu and I used is a 4 pin on one side that goes to psu and then it has 4 pin on the other side but within that there is also 3 pin and 1 pin so when together you get 8 pin for the gfx - is that the correct way or should it be two cables from psu and on both have the 3+1 pin unplugged if just handing there if you know what I mean. Card is packed and i am gonna rma it soon...
