The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

Fury wants 2 x 8pin plugs. PSU has cable with 6pin+2pin extra. So you have to run two cables from PSU. Both should have 6+2pin connector.

EDIT:

In the above I meant that the cable is 8 pin one side and then it has on the other side 8 pin and 6+2 pin extra I just used different wording in my mind... so its 8 pin in the psu and other side of the cable is basically 16 pin together... the question is that enough..hope you know what I mean.

second photo is showing box 75% out of the sleeve. Yet I was still struggling to pull it out. Even pushing it was extremely tough :/ Next time I get sapphire fury x, I will ask someone to help me out. Man, that sleeve was super tight :/
My two XFXs were easy, just needed to open sleeve up flip it and let the gravity do its work.

But anyway, for those who are still on the joke bandwaggon, or those who are still interested if pump issue still here: nope.
Card is absolutely, and I mean absolutely silent.
MY XFXs have this silent buzzing sound, which you can hear only when your ear is right next to them, but with sapphire one, you can only hear a slight humming of the pump, but ear has to be nearly touching the card. So now my two XFXs feel kinda noisy :D :D

Same one I got myself, packed like a baby but will most likely need to be RMA. Have you got any issues with it yourself so far? How long have you been waiting for it since you pre ordered? Any issues with picture corruptions or any other issues at all? What drivers do you use on it? Do you get driver crashes? Why getting sapphire when you already got tow xfx`s

:D

I bought XFXs when they were available couple of days after the release. Never had any issues with them. Any drivers from 15.6 beta to 15.8 beta and everything in between.
Sapphire I bought saturday, as it was on sale and available, and it got delivered today, since yesterday no one was home ;)
Since I already had XFXs in my main PC, I could wait till some more fury xs become available, when they did, I bought one. It is now sitting in secondary PC doing folding duties till I gather all the custom watercooling stuff for awesome trifire setup on my main PC. Secondary PC will have to suffice with fury x2 when that comes out ;)
Why I am buying so many of them? folding@home mainly, and some gaming on a side. Since nvidia is having heck of the crapping storm with newest gen project in folding at home, so fury x is actually the fastest card for folding right now ;) Obviously Titan X is still fastest in publicly available projects, but newest next gen projects are all crapping out on everything nvidia, and devs have no clue why that is and it seems neither nvidia, and we are still looking for the cause of errors.
So yeah. ;)

P.S. So far Sapphire is folding nicely, no crashes nothing ;) And to be honest, your fury X was exception, so I would not expect mine to behave like yours. If it was, folding@home would have crashed the system straight away ;)

Wondering if someone with a Fury X and Batman Arkham Knight could do me a maHOOsive favour.

Could you run the games benchmark maxed out minus the Nvidia options at 1440P pretty please and post a screenshot of the results, It would be appreciated :)

Well an OC'd Fury X against an OC'd 980 Ti Classified I managed to get pretty much north of 40 on the maximums, Only 2FPS more on the minimums and averages was actually +30FPS more which was a surprise.

I tried taking a screenshot but everytime I did it exited to the main menu and took a picture of a blank screen

I really hope the Fury line get proper voltage control soon.
