With some teachers, we had to ask for permission before removing the blazers :'(.
I think school uniforms are a good idea, tbh.
Smart office dress code > Uniform.

All very well if your uniform is rubbish, but I actually prefer our uniform as it very smart and does look very nice.+1
I'd rather they make us all wear formal/semi-formal clothes like at our NRA, we looked a million times better than when we're in our rubbish uniform!![]()
You can, but they count your top 9 grades now - 4 points for an A*, 3 points for an A, and nothing for a B or less, then you have to sit an entrance exam on top.
They add the two scores together and determine places based on that for both Medicine and Dentistry.
If you have 9 A*s, then it doesnt matter what else you have as only those 9 count, but if you have 6 A*, 1 A, and 2 B's, thats only 7 grades counted out of the 9 max, leaving you 6-9 points short from someone with 9 A*s - As.

A) Is cheating/unfair means.
B) Is illegal.
C) Presents a medical risk.
D) No
Are you talking about a specific uni? Because that rule most certainly does not apply to most unis for medicine.
Its all of these I think:

They also add 4 points per A*, and 3 points per A grade at GCSE for your top 9 subjects on top of your UKCAT score, I read it somewhere when looking up UKCAT.
Just your school probably ha, vast majority of Sixth Formers from my school I have seen have been smart enough, not perfect but smart, and the ones that don't comply are very quickly spotted and dealt with.. my school takes uniform very seriously as you can tellUniforms in school I've found make it more likely for the students to have their tie hanging by their ankles, their shirts untucked and their top 3 buttons on their shirts undone. If the student gets to pick what they wear (Smart office wear) then they're likely to take more pride in their appearence but maybe that's just my school..
Speaking of the UKCAT, I've got mine in a few days, I'm trying to revise for it. It's an absolute bitch of a test![]()
Not in schools with discipline :\.
my school cares more about our uniform than our education![]()
