Does anyone else hate the Asuras? I always loved the statuesque beauty of the Guild Wars characters, and I feel the animé-like cuteness of the Asuras is an unwelcome intrusion.

Hey people, sorry to ask this so soon after joining but has anyone got a 10 hour trial code? I used to into Guild Wars Solid (had 15k Luxon) but moved onto eve-online and gave my account to a friend (Very Stupid). Im asking as my cousin wants to give it a go and but is not sure if hes PC will run it. Hes specs are

Athlon 2GHz
512MB RAM
GeForce 4200
Windows XP

That would definately get away with Guild Wars, not sure on what graphics settings but I've played it on much worse systems.

Anyone playing tonight, I'm trundling around Nightfall being quite bored...

You'll probably have to add the -dx8 switch to the Guild Wars shortcut, due to the Ti4200 being a DirectX 8 card, though.

Just add it to the end of the shortcut, like this :-

"D:\Games\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -dx8

Heya, I havnt been on GW for a while but i have the three current chapters available...looking to get back into it...im a casual player, so i play when i get the time and go at my own pace

Guild im currently in seems to have died out.. any chance of an invite? Let me know and ill leave current guild and tell you my character names

Your best bet is to click the link in Sweetloafs or Azagoths sig and request an invite in the forums there. Someone should spot it pretty fast.
Most of the Godless officers aren't on OCUK.

Failing that post an IGN and I'll request an invite in guild chat next time I log in.

of the two new classes, in my opinion dervish is the more fun of the two for PvE, although paragons are very under-rated in the PvE realm.

Paragons are far more diverse in the pvp side, although a few balanced builds use dervish also.
