The Godless - OcUK Guild Wars Guild Members Details...........................

Hi guys,

Steam has now added GW to its list , £15 for GW - Factions - Nightfall is it worth it? or can it be had cheaper? i have GW on CD which i've not played that much. What addon are we on now?

Hey,

I just impulse-bought this, and have no idea what I've let myself in for... only ever played WoW (which pwned my life for like a year :p). If anyone would be kind enough to give me a crash course in guild-warring, please add me on Steam (Sumanji)!

Cheers,

Su

Finally got my account details back after 2 house moves and about 30 different email address. Their support was top notch considering it was Sunday at 4pm.

I wanted 2 things from reinstallation, to finish EOTN and get all the hall of monuments stuff, and to let my daughter mess about without worry of a subscription.

I have to say I was suprised to see so many people running about, although I think they are mainly there for the PVP? I only played PVE as my escape from the madening world.

Didn't see any trade chat, did they ever get their auction house going? So it looks like acquiring items may be difficult.

They have obviously updated the graphics since I last played as my character now looks decidedly gay, scenery still looks gorgeous although I want more draw distance.

Got my 3rd 4th and 5th birthday pressies so lots of minipets for me. Noticed that bags and storage have been upgraded (although mine are greyed out, does this mean I cannot have them?)

Looking forward to GW2 - looks and sounds amazing.

I still have to finish Eye of the North, actually... I never did finish the Factions campaign...

I think the storage you have that is greyed out is for slots that you purchase.
For a while they were running a promotion/limited offer that you could sign up to their website and get a free storage slot. (Couldn't complain for free)

I always go back to Guild Wars every so often, just never have the time to get everything done.

Cheers for that.

Must admit I spent most of the night running around on my w/mo whipping out my Fiery dragon Sword, then my Icy Dragon Sword. Still remember my IDS run, first time I went and first mob that dropped it and it went to me - yarrr!

s'all about farming it with the R/x

I still love my Fiery Flatbow of Pruning for my Shard run in the Forest :D

Though now i have a lovely Silverwing Recurve.

Just started playing this, got it as a gift from a friend after playing through and finishing Borderlands and then Titan Quest in co-op.

Currently got a level 9 elementalist/monk. Not a bad game really :) I am quite enjoying it but the camera winds me up something cronic. One thing though, I am still using the weapon that I got right in the begining. At what stage do you start finding some weapons that are a decent replacement?

Cheers.

You should be finding them all the time :p

Though keep in mind that 11-22 is the max wand damage and +12e is max focus energy. And damn, seems i forgot to move GW when i got round to removing windows.old. Guess i'll have to dig out the discs. And whats up with the camera angles ><

It shouldn't be too hard to get hold of some collector items with max stats if you know anyone with the game though.

This is all foreign to me, all I know is that i don't do a whole lot of damage with my staff, but I have now got a few different fairly decent staff and a massive mannor pool which makes the ele/monk pretty damn hardcore!

The camera just picks the worst angles, admitedly you can swithch it up with the mouse but seriously....

You will never do much damage with the basic attack, almost all of the damage comes from new skills. I remember when I made my first character (an ele as well) I just used that fireball skill while I was waiting for the cooldown on other skills. When getting weapons just look at what they can do for you in a passive function.
