The Godless - OcUK Guild Wars Guild Members Details...........................

This is all foreign to me, all I know is that i don't do a whole lot of damage with my staff, but I have now got a few different fairly decent staff and a massive mannor pool which makes the ele/monk pretty damn hardcore!
Forget the autoattack, I only use it to let the AI henchmen know who to sic! :p It's all about using your spells/skills and managing your energy pool and the spell cooldown.

The camera just picks the worst angles, admitedly you can swithch it up with the mouse but seriously....

Zoom out, you'll be happier, and if you still aren't hold right mouse button to move move the camera. If you zoom out far enough it almost looks like an isometric game, which is very much the way I prefer it, you can see the whole battlefield and the position of everyone in it, if some dude with a hammer starts running at you you can see them in time to kite! :p

Its all about Hero/Hench builds. Far more fun to come from a great team build than some tedious cookie cutter build. My ele goes around with a Thunderclap conditioning build with an MM, some other random condition hero and a Fevered Dreams mesmer, never gets tiresome seeing an entire group of enemies suffering from almost every condition under the sun in the space of 5 seconds, then you just sit there attacking the monk as everything fails to cast thanks to Daze.

...
Why have I not thought to do this before... :| What is wrong with me!?
*steals idea*

Hehe, it is quite effective. Helps if you have the PvE only skills Finish Him/Dwarf so you get a bit more choice. But its good fun targetting the Fevered Dreams and following it with Blinding Flash, Enervating Charge, Thunderclap, Dwarf, Finish Him, Lightning Orb or whatever your heroes are using like Apply Poison + Crippling Shot/Burning Arrow (or Broadhead if you're feeling lucky, not usually worth it) then you get the Necro with his Jagged Horrors/Death Nova and Rotting Flesh, along with the old faithful Warrior Henchman for interrupting the dazed casters.

Cleared a good amount of Hard Mode with it, think it was the build i henched Frostmaw HM too without having to employ an imbagon. Was on the way to my 3rd/4th Vanquisher/Guardian titles.

Ahh this is basically what I have been doing, I play mostly on my laptop which has a smaller screen res and the camera even when zoomed out tends to do crazy stuff like jump through walls so I can see nothing at all, just a wall.

Other than that I'm getting there, I am about level 12 now and me and my mate seem to be going through at quite a pace (even if I can only get him up for one game night a week). I must admit though I am a little dissapointed with the items, When I played through tq you would find a really nice item every couple of hours, which often meant a complete change in how you played. With Guild Wars i seem to have stuck with pretty much what I was given at the beginning.

Just one more question.... When can I get myself a pet and how?

I wouldn't think about your items much. Once you get max gear which can happen pretty much anytime and fairly soon the only thing that'll change is the skin of the items. Playstyle changes just comes from the runes your char has equipped. Its not uncommon to have a set of armour with general runes (so +1 Energy Storage and 3 Vitae Runes if you're ele) and have a headgear for each element.

Unless you're getting hardcore into a char where you might have several sets of armour for different builds.

You can only get a pet if your part Ranger and take Charm Animal (then Comfort Animal once you have it).

You have to be kidding me no pets... I have a crazy imp that I summon and he kicks some ass but what I need is a pet. Feel robbed!

Just a heads up, that imp will only last up till level 19, at 20 you lose it.

If you want a proper pet you will have to make a ranger, or maybe change your 2nd profession? Someone will have to clear up if secondary ranger prof allows you a pet, can't remember.

minipets? whats this shenanigans? At the moment my character is a lvl 13 elementalist/monk.... "emo"... the balance between brutal fire spells and healy hands and other healing spells seems to work best for me. I just equip that spell which gives health every time a member of the team attacks then stand in the middle of the enemy spamming my fire.

I'm just going to pop online for the first time in about 2 years, see if anything has changed etc :D

edit: nvm guess i won't be then, when I log in it tells me my account is not authorised to play until I buy guildwars....but I already bought GW's about 6 years ago and it has always worked with the account :(

Huh? What imp?

My minipets always sucked. Everything i got was white... cept my Mesmer who got 2 purples (the irony... she was wearing Purple Enchanters both times).

Oh well, time to reinstall GW, lets see how much there is to download... bah can't remember my password... password reset doesn't send an email and my NCsoft account (after also resetting that password) doesn't seem to have my account registered... who knows.

If you bought the game of the year edition (or something) you get a leveling imp you can summon up to level 19.

Type /bonus (I think) on a low level character to see if you have it.

Ah i see. Well i've got 10 lvl20 chars so that probably won't happen :p

I just can't login. Partly my own stupidity misreading the 'character name' as 'secret answer' and now it won't connect when i try my passwords again, could just be i've tried too many times.
