thats the point, the game isn't geared for soloing. It's geared for party play only, hence why u can hire computer henchmen.
 
OT Damnit, I hate how they'd Hollywoodianised Clint Mansell's music!:mad: The original version with the Kronos Quartet was a lot more effective - I still feel as if something's squeezing my heart whenever I hear it!

Still, you couldn't have picked a better soundtrack!;) But 35MB for a 3' video!!!:eek:
 
God damn, this game is so great, but it's taking me an age to do anything, bloody laptop!
Mouse keeps locking up every so often and its far too hard to attempt to play using only keys, if that is even possible...

Roll on tomorrow morning so I can get into town and get a new harddisk and play on a real computer!
 
why has all the wow crap been stickied but the guild war stuff hasn't, even though it's far superior and probably more popular? Is there a mod playing wow but not guild wars or something? :)
 
Emlyn_Dewar i reckon you ould play GW with out a mouse with little loss in gaming performace.
Toker, have you not heard the mods are getting paid to sticky the WoW threads and play WoW. But i think they feel its not going to be as popular since right now theres lvl caps and stuff?

It shouldn't make it less popular, it'll just stop the losers who play 24/7 to get to level 23492083409238492834 from dominating the game over the people with real skill :D

emlyn's got his desktop back up and running anyway so he has no excuse for not playing guild wars now.
 
It's nowhere NEAR as popular as WoW, don't reckon it will be any time soon either. Maybe in the long run though, as Korean MMOGs tend to go on and on whereas in the west the big herd of players is always moving onto the next big thing.
 
I did email Davey pitch to see about getting the thread stickied, there was no reply. Even though the Guild Wars guild now has more members than the WoW one does........

go figure
 
The WoW guild is a horde guild, and there's probably as many OCUKers if not more who play Alliance characters, so there can't be anywhere near as many people playing GW on the forums. Plus there can only be 3 stickies per forum and there'd be an outcry if they unstickied one of theirs to sticky this one!
Doesn't matter though because the GW group is obviously more active and our thread keeps getting bumped to the top anyway:D
 
I keep needing to pester Duncan (Nucleaus Wrench) to play he only plays like an hour a night and me i may play 4 hours i may play an hour in evenings but ive clocked 20hours at the moment.

But hes also waiting for 2/3 more people to get the game so some partying be going on.
 
i just received the game today, its just downloading the files. how do i go about joining the godless guild? btw i am a ranger called (edit) name is now Seth Morcus.

i am about to get a second profession. which one would you recommend i get?
