Cool, I cannot wait. I got my copy yesterday but I'll have to wait for my XP2500-M to arrive on Monday before I can install it. I'm probably gonna start off as a female Ranger but I haven't decided on my name yet. Man, this is so exciting. I'm also a MMORPG-type n00b btw.

im Ark Redwalar by the way R/E Lvl 18
also Rock Redwalar W/R lvl 6, and Blade Redwalar W/M lvl 4 but only just started those

Well, I've finally read through the manual (which was long!) and I'm probably gonna create a female Warrior/Mesmer first. I have played PSO: Episode 1 and 2 online before on my GC and I thoroughly enjoyed it so hopefully, it's a similar experience out there. I haven't really enjoyed MMORPGs before though because of the overwhelming amount of shortcuts you have to remember on keyboards and stuff but I bought the game now so I will have to play it no matter what.

And yep, I will definitely look out for you guys. Is there like an option to save your friends or something like on info cards so that you can search to see if they are online or privately send messages to each other to arrange a meeting point like on PSO? I'm only interested in getting together to complete quests and levelling up atm, not getting into fights with other guilds since I might drag the rest of the team down!

I don't know a MMORPG that doesn't have that option. I happen to think the interface for Guild Wars is much improved over my previous experiences though. I'm a level 5 Monk/Necromancer and it's quite a nice combination.

Yes there is a friends window, but if you join the guild the guild window will also show who is online, so you can talk to the guild or privately to one person.

Ok guys, created my account. Level 1 Hyuuga Mari (Warrior). It runs okish (30fps or so) if I put it on low settings but I may be thinking about getting that Radeon 9700/9800Pro now! Got my mobile 2500+ today so I'm gonna try overclocking it now and see if that improves the performance.

Probably need some better RAM if you're going to overclock it, PC2700 isn't gonna cut it with the XP-M.

But that's for another time and place

I'll get an officer to add you to the guild when I see one online. Just keep checking ingame on the Guild screen (press G to view it) and accept the invite when it comes

I've heard bad things about overclocking and Guild Wars, but give it a bash, I hear the game becomes quite unstable though.

Well, I got my mobile XP2500+ to 2.2Ghz but it didn't seem to make much difference in the game until I tried overclocking my FX5200! I'm playing on medium detail on 1024x768 (although I would prefer 1280x1024 since that's my TFT's native resolution and it looks better) and I get between 20-30fps depending on the action.

I've had to clock everything back to stock, Had an [email protected] (now back to 2.2) and a 6800nu that was @410/850

I thought my random crashes were down to overclocking but it's quite a common problem if you look around, funny thing is since having everything at stock i haven't noticed any loss in gaming performance that is worth mentioning :rolleyes:

Hi, sorry for being such a dumbass but how do I join? Do I wait for the Guild Leader to send me an invite which I accept via the Guild Screen? How does the Guild Leader know how to find the exact me?
