The Golden Ratio (Half a tin of beans)

I am 50 with a average resting heartrate of 43-44 over a 7 day period.
I have a VO2 max of 48 Running & 54 Cycling
Currently average 15-18hrs per week exercise

Beans on toast is a nice after workout filler that is healthy in a balanced and active lifestyle, especially after a double training day, work and all you want to do is collapse on the sofa.

However the majority of you are all wrong, 2 slices of bread is no where near enough for an entire tin. OCUK is full of crazy.

(cold toast only done on one side is the best)

That's awesome then on the exercise front. Good for you - my point still stands though. You do lead a very active lifestyle so you probably don't put on weight then?

EDIT: I've decided you're still a pig regardless of your response :p

I agree there. 4 slices per tin is perfect, 3 if you want a slightly better bean to toast ratio.
