The Grand Tour

They ended it at the supposed place of the first tour, but Google and my memory would have said that the Winter Olympics racing on ice was the first in season 7 and then the USA special in seasons 9..

Do they not count these as they may have been mixed in with the standard format, where the first totally full length special was in Botswana

I always thought the North Pole was the first proper one, but I suppose that was Hammond on a sled and May and Clarkson sharing a car.
