DPD always used to be great for me, but i think i have issues with virtually every package using them now, whereas my Hermes parcels are always delivered perfectly.

Other than struggling at peak times, DPD have a pretty solid UK service. Internationally things are still patchy, their service is inconsistent across Europe.

Yeah, my issue seems to be with the local driver being a bit useless. It's always "Sam" on the original date who either delivers to the wrong house, or stands outside the gate and takes a photo and says missed delivery. Then a "Chris" comes the next day and delivers perfectly!

We had a bad DPD delivery yesterday, first time ever there's been something amiss with them. I was standing in the kitchen making myself a sarnie and I heard the distinctive beeping of a van backing up the road. I glanced over my shoulder and could see a DPD van through the front door window. A few minutes later, I realised there hadn't been a knock so I looked again and the van had gone. Opened the door and there was my parcel, sitting on the doorstep. He hadn't bothered knocking, had just put it down, taken a photograph against the closed door and gone.

It was quite an expensive item, I was annoyed that he'd just left it on the doorstep without even knocking.

UPS run a direct (pretty sure it's direct) from CLN to SZX and by my maths it should be there or there shortly (it's roughly a 12 hour flight if it's direct, which I'd say is likely)

to finish this up. DPD finally delivered today after sending the parcel to the UK and back a further time.

DPD really did let us down there.

Man, that's a shame. DPD are awesome for us as well. They deliver most of our work orders thanks to be used by OcUK and others, we see him almost weekly and he's never not got something to us next day if promised.

Hermes on the other hand... god awful. Last "proof of delivery" photo was of a random building outside a train station on a totally different road.
