Imagine if pigs could fly. How we keep buying crocked CBs is beyond me. Bailly, Varane, Jones. Jones should have gone at least a few years ago, Bailly should be sold this summer. There is no benefit to defenders who are injured 70% of the time no matter how good.

2-0 win over Palace earlier today. Like the Utd game we played pretty much 3 different sides within the 90 mins and I suspect the players trained earlier in the day too so it's difficult to take too much from the performances in these early friendlies.
I believe the squad are flying straight home today, having spent just 6 days out in Thailand & Singapore, before heading off to Austria for the serious training camp. I guess we'll see a bit more of a structured side in the Leipzig and Salzburg games next week.

We've got Betis at home on 30th, and then our first home game of the season is Man Utd. They'll be my three year old's first games watching Brentford. Have bought one of those Amazon kids tablets as I imagine his interest in the football will be over by the 2nd minute.
Lucky kid. Most of my early Brentford games have been against the likes of Rochdale, Southend and Gillingham, and he gets Real Betis and Man Utd
