Well, I took the plunge and ordered an Inno3D GTX980 Ti X3 Ultra. Looks a little power hungry, but I've a 1k PSU so should be fine..

I've only ever used EVGA before so a little nervous about trying a different brand... But, if the only difference really is in customer care, I'll take the risk. Next day delivery.

This should be a nice step up from my GTX780.

The one that costs £60 more has a backplate (and Batman).

I'm finding it difficult to resist the "EVGA GeForce GTX 980Ti Superclocked ACX 2.0+" for £540. According to the reviews it's just as good as the G1.

Not worth it go with the G1, plus Gigabyte have their RMA centre in the UK. Their CS is much better too.

Performs exactly like the G1 m8, few degrees warmer but also a touch quieter

Looks to be an awesome card tbh :cool:

The current price on the SC ACX is a great deal. The G1 is slightly better, especially when overclocked. But I don't think it is £90 better.

I want the G1 more, but it's expensive here compared to Germany. Can get one shipped from there for £570 but then the RMA is a pain in the butt.
