When you say 'they' I take it from that you are going SLI?

If so id love to see how you benchmark as I intend to go SLI one day :)

Promotion has ended now (only ran to the end of June). I was a new registrant so I also got a 50% off code on an EVGA PSU. I also got the Batman code which I managed to sell on prior to release and all the bad reviews. :D

Do you know how it compares to the 7950 windforce versions? I'd imagine they're similar, but I don't know if they have changed anything that would increase the noise since the 7950 versions. If they are the same, I may go for the G1. The MSI gaming edition seems to be a little warmer than I'd like according to reviews, and Gigabyte cards have always been reliable for me, so will probably stay loyal to them as a brand.

No idea on the wf 7950 sorry. But ive found with the msi, you can up the fan speed quite high but theres no noticeable rise in noise, but temps are much lower. At stock fan setting the msi would likely run a bit warmer. I clocked mine to +150 core last night to run firestrike, upped fan to 75% manually and the temps maxed at 69c.

Ok that seems quite reasonable. I haven't bought an MSI card in years, especially after all the problems they had in the past with the twin frozr designs. I may give the MSI a shot as it's slightly cheaper now.

This is the second twin frozr cooled card ive owned. Other is only a 650ti though. Rarely game on that system. But always been impressed by how quiet it was. My last few card setups have been windforce 670's and 780's in sli.
