Gigabyte G1 SOC is best 980 Ti atm. EVGA Hybrid would be second choice.
What puts the G1 above the AMP Extreme?

Nothing, only perception. G1 was the first Custom pcb card to be widely available and reviewed.
Since they're both "not silent", compared to ACX and 6G, you can let price/looks lead you to either one of them.
The fans are idle up to 60 degrees on the AMP Extreme right?

yea heres mines and follow the yellow arrows to find the settingCan't Afterburner allow you to set your own fan settings anyway?
Custom PCB, cooling design and aesthetics, I fine the look of the G1 better than the others and the Gigabyte brand would edge it for me. Personal preference.
It's def my fav pick from all the 980 Ti's so far.
So yeah they are all good, but the G1 would be my pick. I mean look at it
They're both custom PCB but the AMP has better temps, noise, factory OC and price. So is it completely based on brand and aesthetics?
Previous HoF cards have been pretty great. I'm sure it'll be a solid choice.Do any of you have opinions on the KFA2 980TI? For a white themed build, this looks like a decent option.

changed mine so the card has slight fan at low temps and idles around 20c cooler than default.
I cant hear the fan above my case fans until it hits around 70 anyway
By default my card tries to maintain 83c and once it hits this temp gpuboost 2.0 stops ocing the card further to keep the temp stable

you can change the desired target temp to change the gpu boost behaviour but I can't remember where the setting was, must be in after burner somewhere since the nvidia gpu boost page says to change it via a third party app and I definitely came across the setting at some point the other day
cards limit is around 92c though so I can't see the point in altering the target temp unless it's to go lower so gpu boost won't oc your card as much and the core temp will be cooler
