It's got 80C air blasting past it and you want to know if it gets hot? :confused:

A 670 scores around 950 in Heaven, a 980Ti scores around 2700.

A massive upgrade and this is comparing with a 680 not the 670 :cool:

Very happy with the HoF after a few days, Witcher 3 1500/8000 is finally possible (probably just thanks to the Asic and not the particular card).
Tomorrow I'll replace the paste with some Kryonaut and post my findings.

the GPU core is at 80C under load, not the air. EVGA seems to disagree with you.

Picked up KFA reference last Friday.

Nice piece of kit, I definitely prefer the look of the reference cooler to the custom coolers from other manufacturers.

Even if it does run a little hotter.

I've gone from an MSI Gaming GTX 970 and I'm enjoying the extra grunt to add a bit more eye candy to my triple screen set up.

Well the GPUs i want are all on sale this week, so it comes down to:

MSI 6G: £560
KFA HOF: £570
Gigabyte G1: £570

Damn this is tough. Been deciding this for ages now and still not made my mind up.

My case as it is right now, GPU-less

That case asks for a HoF.
Too bad not many people have it (but those who do are happy).

Yeah go for the HoF simply for the looks. The 6G and HoF are both very similar. I'd pick either over the G1.

Same here. Too many reports of the G1 being a noisy card.

Did some more testing with the HoF (@1500/8001, 73,7 Asic 1:1 Fan profile in a well ventilated case, 23c room temperature):

2x Valley in loop @1440p, 4xmsaa
1st run 68c, 2nd 70c

Firestrike 4k 2nd test in loop
1st 56 2nd 63 3rd 66 4th 67 5th 67 6th 68

Witcher 3, everything maxed out @1440p, static scene under the tees
74c after 5 minutes, 75c after 10 minutes, didn't go past 75 riding on horse for a while.

Is it possible that using the Gpu the TIM has spread properly? Temps are better than the first day. I don't think I'll even bother using the Kryonaout I have bought.

P.S. Just a few random things already installed, I had in mind to compare the numbers with the Kryonaout.
