Do you guys think my PCI Bus is limiting my 980TI as I've got an old motherboard and in GPU-Z it's says my card is currently running @ PCI-E x8 v1.1?

The reason I ask is now again for some reason the performance just drops for no reason will gaming or even scrolling web pages, for example I was just playing Mirror's Edge @ 4k DSR, butter smooth and then bam, performance drops and I'm getting screen tearing, seeing it in a lot of my games.

Temps seem to be staying under 70c.

The difference is so minimal that you should notice no difference at all.

Can anyone who's managed to voltage tweak their bios give me any pointers?
I've unlocked the TDP to 400W but I want to see if I can get it above 1.23v and changing the voltage sliders in MBT to 1.281v is now giving me 1.183v in use (I used the sliders for clicks 60+)

there's a reference EVGA superclocked bios on overclock.net, can I use that on an aftermarket card? Fan settings I'm not bothered about as I use fixed fan for benching and will flash back to stock bios for gaming anyway

Hybrid arrived / installed. Massive difference in temps. Default boost is 1400MHz.

The card is really nice looking, VRM heatsink cooling is the best I've ever seen lol.

Will get some pics up etc later, just about to go out. So far looks like a beast.

Really liking the Palit, such a quiet card, been playing through Mirrors Edge and the fans didn't even kick in!! I know it's an older game but still impressive imo.

It's def worth it, the temp difference is massive mate. At the current price it's a steal with pre fitted AIO and that beast mode VRM cooling.

The fan is controllable in MSI Afterburner etc. At default the fan is near silent, 36%.

The cooling pump seems quiet, like a purr rather than a high pitched squeal (AMD). No coil whine, tried Witcher 3 and max temp 52C. Need to have a longer play with it. See how it does after a few hours.

Gotta run out but I'll post pics etc later. I think it's worth it mate. My other card has gone, not lost any money so happy days

Yeah you control the Radiator fan, min is 36% (Inaudible) Max is 100% which is a nice whoosh

Ref Turbo was 1200MHz, Hybrid Turbo is 1400MHz.

Ref temp during gaming 83C, Hybrid temp during gaming 52C.
