The GTX 980 Ti owners thread.

Yeah, not looking forward to the heat after my ACX 2.0 cards have been so good!!!

TBH instead of going the whole hog in regards to WC I may as well go with a pair of Hybrids for the approx cost of £80 per card (less than a block!).

It'll give me great temps and be pretty damn quiet at the same time

In the meantime, stick a fan behind to blow into the cards. Helps a bit with reference models. Tried it with my 780's but didn't make much difference as they were non ref. The ROG boards are very good, just not ideal for sli compared to some of the standard Asus boards.

Currently have 2x140mm fans in the front of my 540, think I might switch to 3x120mm's if it hits the right spot a bit better :)

Great thing about the 540, you can have a wall of fans with nothing to impede airflow. I've found Silverstone air penetrator fans to be great for focusing air between gpu's. Use theese as intakes andon the hdd cage in the primo. Two 140's as intake and two 120's on the cage.

It needs to be minimized and running yeah.

My lordy is that LOUD!
Plus it conflicts with Dxtory and OBS when MSI Afterburner is open for some reason.

It certainly keeps the temps down, but at a serious cost for silence.
I still need to replace my H440's front fans with Noctua's, would be better than running that monster profile. :p

When do we get the batman codes with these orders? Are they on the boxes or something?

Dunno about OcUK, but I got mine inside the shipping box printed on some paper.

I'm ashamed to say I have all of them but not really spent any time playing them (steam sales). I haven't even fired up the last one. :o

Trying not to diverge too much but if Arkham Knight is anything simillar to Arkham Asylum, it'll be fantastic. Arkham City was OK but origins had bad reviews due to its comparison with Asylum, as a standalone it was impressive.

Fun fact though, same developers as Asylum are back for this one so I have high hopes! May even top Witcher 3 for me. Enjoyment wise.

Pretty impressed so far.

+250 on the core
+400 memory

77Deg Max Temp (custom fan profile)

Boosting to 1440Mhz.

I've not tried to push for more, happy with that for now.

It's not quiet that's for sure. I've come from a MSI 970 Gaming card which was very quiet.

The reference 980ti is going to make me deaf and sweat to death in my small gaming room!!
