The GTX Titan X owners thread.

Nice one, you should be set for a long time with two of these.

When are you expecting your cards? Want to see some user feedback..

I switched my OcUK order from the SC to the Asus, so the 25th according to the very nice gentleman I spoke to on the phone. I will be benching methodically on the 290X this weekend and up till the TX arrives and then doing the same on the TX. Fraps is fantastic for benching and that will be my weapon of choice.

Gregster just sent you a trust message. Nudies will be sent in the second message if you give a positive answer!
I charge for the nudies :p

Ok I bit the bullet and ordered three acetel full cover copper blocks direct from EK.

Decided to skip the back plates on these, the EK ones don't really help with temps - and I'm thinking the cards will get quite warm topside.

Any reason other than getting the card faster?

Yes and no, my last 3 Titans were Asus, EVGA SC and Zotac. The Asus was a great clocker, then the SC and the Zotac was very poor. So primarily it is delivery but also past experience although it should be pot luck.

I have had many brands over the years MSI being the worst imo.

Hoping I get lucky with the OCUK version like I did the Galax 970s (good clockers and cool). I think Galax/KFA do these.

Nice one, look forward to reading your experience with the Titan X. If you could test single card as well would be appreciated. On holiday soon will be looking to pick up an X in mid April, hopefully prices have settled a bit with more availability by then.

Got my eyes on the EVGA Titan Black SC, but tbh I'll likely settle for the Palit card as there's usually some big savings there at some point.

It will all be single card as I won't get the SC till the 2nd April. And brand has to be pot luck really, unless nVidia do a Binning process for partners?

I won't be getting backplates either. I found they limited memory clocking on the Original Titans and as mine is a reverse case, you can't see them either.

Backplates are hit and miss IMO - some seem to be made purely for aesthetics whereas the one my GHZ edition is good for 3-4C drop in temps over the normal WF3 card.

Ah cool, yeah that's what I want to see :). I'm not sure about binning, I just meant the Palit cards are usually a fair bit cheaper. Hopefully when the dust settles I'll pick one up.

lol for now. I think Fiji is going to put a spanner in the works if I'm honest. Come out from behind the NDA curtain looking like Dwayne Johnson in a frilly dress with that god awful AIO solution on it, though.
