The GTX Titan X owners thread.

Nope, still on the stock BIOS.

Have a look for it when I applied it I managed to get 3rd place on the leader boards on heaven for single gpu, probably been knocked off now mind but it stops it power throttling must smoother and consistant.

I'm on the stock EVGA SC bios on my cards. I don't up the volts at all when overclocking.
It seemed to cause issues from time to time on that bios.

its not the lack of volts that's the problem its the power limit throttling the clocks down as it steps over its power limit.

Cheers. May have a go tonight, if not it'll be the week after next when I get back from Ibiza.

Im limited to 1400 on mine before it throttles and it wont accept anymore voltage over stock so Im thinking about flashing mine. Anyone ever borked a gpu flashing it? Ive never done it before and the fact its an £800 gpu as my first go makes me uneasy!

I was the same flashing mine very scary but its pretty easy just remember to use 'the dirty' version on nv flash mine wouldn't flash with out it

You know what it's like when you're out the loop for a year... I know 4k is still in it's infancy but it's where I want to be so is Titan X SLI pretty much the only viable option at this time?

So you're saying some WILL by that :) I'm going to build a monster soon, and then barely use it judging by past experiences but I enjoy the whole researching parts and building at least.

All fitted! :D
I had a panic because when I turned it back on nothing was working, turned out to be the power lead just happened to die at the same time.

All working now though, just tried Witcher 3 and it didn't go higher than 44 degrees. High 20's idle.
Next will be BIOS and benching. (maybe tomorrow)

Hidden in plain view :p Must be quite a wide case or very slim PSU..

I like the idea of the hybrid cards, WC for me is a hassle I won't entertain so AIO coolers are a godsend.

lol at the comment above looks very neat for the amount of aio coolers you have in there what case are you running ?

I'm running a single TX and a G-Sync monitor, no SLI micro stutter and always looks and feels like a solid 60fps.

As said a Ti will do it with a couple of settings turned down, not many though just so you don't hit 6gb on a couple of games that use a lot of vram.
