The GTX Titan X owners thread.

Titan X SLI is better than 1070 SLI... even if performance on paper were identical, the Titan X gameplay will be smoother as it doesn't have the memory issue of the 1070.

Why would the 8gb of the 1070 have any more issue than say the 6gb of a current 980t1? Plenty of people have those in sli and working fine

Mine was an Asus one with a NZXT Kraken AIO included for £420! It's so strange how fast the value shot up then bombed even quicker, all in the space of a few weeks.

im also waiting on delivery my titan x, hope it does actually come haha

got it super cheap, £400 delivered

did sell my 980 ti 2 weeks before for more

still got the ek block so it will fit right back on :p

either way id rather have a titan x for 400 than 1070

it seems like they've gone back up to £550 + which is nice to see

Makes no sense to me tbh

Surely a 1080 would be a better option?

Avoid the FE edition and get a single AIB 1080 in a couple of weeks?

not really

its £220 more then another £100 for the block

6gb more ram than the 980 ti and 4gb more than a 1080

plus im familiar with maxwell now cba dealing with early stages of pascal

plus the 1080 at that price is a rip off, a titan x is much better value @ at the price I paid was a steal

my plan was never to get a 1080 at all it was to get a 1070, but I decided to get a titan X and wait for the 1070 and see the price and real performance but by time then I probably won't be bothered as I think a overclocked titan x v oc 1070, the 1070 would lose

Drivers will further increase the gap between the Titan X and 1080/1070 bit by bit every new release.

What do you mean ?

Maxwell is a well raised and mature young man, a bit lazy at times, but when properly motivated he really tries his best. He's generous, friendly, well mannered, respectful, educated with a great sense of humour, and the kind of guy whose company it is a pleasure to be in.

Pascal is a ****. He's rude, arrogant and only speaks French, believing it to be the 'superior language'. He is immature, selfish and uncultured, with little time for intelligent discussion, instead preferring to spend his time planning practical jokes and making farting noises with his armpit. He also smells of cheese.
