Surely if you just run the game to match your refresh rate you don't need Free Sync / G Sync, just another sticker they can throw on the boxes. Load of tosh :D:p

I've done fine for gaming for 15+ years without it lol. Rock solid 60fps every time :p

Just don't run games at 30fps / 40fps.. Who does that anyway :D

Being serious for a minute, would G-Sync work with a 960 struggling at 1440P? If so maybe that would be kinda cool..

It will probably work wonders for your minimums (smoother dips) especially at 1440p with a 960.

Anyway, off to get me K/D ratio up on COD:AW :)

I'm not certain but I'm sure I read the other day GSYNC stays in VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) all the way down to 1fps. Of course it gets to a point where it will still look awful but it would work fine with a 960 as long as you aren't going nuts with the settings and maxing the VRAM.

Another reason why I want to swap this ghostsync monitor :D for the ROG Swift.
 
I've become attached to this lil 960. Honestly think it's one of the best cards I've ever used :D

It was so cheap and it just works awesome especially at 1080P. I've only just bought the BenQ 32" 1440P, otherwise I might consider getting a GSync screen and just keep the 960..

Instead I need raw power ! Titan X + 1440P + 60fps ftw !!


This waiting is game for the X is not good. Worst launch so far for me.. Want to get my hands on the card !!

If Gigabyte is here @ OCUK tomorrow I will order, wish someone could confirm if there is stock tomorrow lol.
