That was a tense finish! Next time if we don't use such a crap character as Mel's was ( triggering everything first round!), And now we know the mechanism, it would probably be more straight forward. Tricky regardless.

Nah, it was Melmac's cat that ran around the corner, triggered everything, did bugger all, then ran back to Melmac to let him know there's a ******** of enemies and now they're awake...

Good fun! Apparently the boss is invisible, and if you can work out where he is you can damage him. Damage him enough and he becomes visible and then does his whole cloning thing.
Also I read you can defeat two of the hydra heads and just leave the third which cuts down on the amount of corruption attacks. Killing the third causes the entire thing to respawn.

The ghost was appearing before we revealed him. Area of effect attacks maybe around it.

Only thing is I don't know if he actually pointed to where the guy was. I know he always appeared next to him.
I would like to take this opportunity to say that ShiWarrior is correct. It was all his fault!!
But, yeah, the Cat shouldn't run off on his own. It should stay at your side until ordered to attack. Most of the cards that the Warlock gets involve using Cana. It seems stupid that Cana can run off on it's own and get killed or trapped or corrupted. Leaving the Warlock without any attacking options.
Or maybe it's just me, 5 minutes in my company would make anyone run off.
