Right, I've found out how to get the PC video player working rather than use my desktop and it plays great, after a couple of tweaks.

Here's hoping the stream quality is good for you!

BTW Bigscreen is one word if you need to find it in the store.

im on big screen now

i may have to change my audio device and microphone device, but i wont know until i join a room

as the tutorial put me in cinema , and i couldn't hear anything, so ive changed device, hopefully its ok now

oh and I changed my mind, im now on the cable

If you use the PC app make sure the audio is set to your VR device. Mine was set to my PC headphones so I was confused that there was no audio in the movie, but weirdly all the big screen sounds worked. Possibly it's so you can pipe audio to a separate sound system.

ah yes, that's what I've done

i should be good to go then

we were Guinee pigs for you Melmac, we were in a long time before you joined to test and get set up, it hurts our eyes so much, we saw double :D

yes i am serious, earlier on there was something that came up about volume, I didn't touch it, the sound on the movie was loud so i had to turn down my headset volume, which meant i couldn't really hear you guys sorry

Sorry about Dredd, I'll try to reconvert it, reversing the L/R eyes.

Just tried Dune in Bigscreen using VLC and it looks stunning, no 3D issues, though the 3D is noticably 'flatter' than Dr. Strange. Might be worth watching in 2D, as 3D doesn't help much.

So if anyone wants a Dune session then I'm up for it. It's approx 2.5 hours.
