The Happy thread - Positive posts only :-)

I saw a large emerald moth last night, and managed to get it out of the house undamaged.

I thought I might never see one again, so was pretty pleased about that.
Not as fancy as that but a common butterfly (peacock?) fluttered down from the ceiling and into the lift at work. Its right at the top of the building so it must have had a long flight up there. Anyway had a job trying to hold the lift open and cup it into my hands before getting the rooftop door open and letting it go free. My good deed of the week day. Feeling good? Oh yeah.

Woke up to a successful eBay snipe email. Expensive item, lots of watchers and quite a few bidders. My automated snipe was submitted at the last few seconds, outbidding any other maximum bids submitted and not leaving time for anyone to manually submit another one.

That makes me very happy.

I was happy donating today to the GoFundMe of a poor woman who just had a monozygotic quad (4 girls).

Launched the new brand today at work, all about speaking more clearly to clients.

Huge amount of work and I think it's brilliant. Really happy with what everyone has achieved :-)

Tonight I volunteered at Girl Guides with a few people from my repair café group. I showed the girls how to rewire a plug. We were given "Thank you" patches in reward. What a wholesome evening!

Could also go for medical badges - electrocution immediate care and immediate burns care! (When my big sis did guides I’m sure there some injury care badges).

Pond clearing.. seems I have quite a
Few young fish including one that already seems to equate me with food!

Sat on the first train of three to get back from holiday (Dutch local, Eurostar to London, London to home). Happy I had a good holiday but also happy I'll sleep in my own bed tonight!

So Shell-vis Presley ended up as an accidental stowaway when a family took him home from a holiday in the Eastern Cape in Saffrica. He was handed to the SPCA who took him in. An airline was approached to help get him home and they said no. Then a radio station got involved and he became a bit of a celebrity, with another airline stepping jn to get him back home.

Sometimes humans can be ******* awesome
