I had the privilege of going Defqon1 in Sydney back in 2009. Absolutely loved the 30c heat, banging beats and got to properly meet/catch up with Mark Sherry the legend.

This set isn't quite hardstyle, but it's quite possibly one of the best trance sets ever. I was there. I don't remember much.

*I've told you a million times, I never exaggerate!

I am a fan of hardstyle myself, but a lot of what I'm finding nowadays is too cheesy. An example of what I like is Hardstyle God by DJ Lady Dana. From around 2003 or 2004.

Do you guys have any other examples like this?

Bloody hell that takes me back, completely forgot about her, she was the OG hardstyle DJ when I was first introduced to the genre! See also Korsakoff & Outblast. Loads more but I can't think of them right now.
