Homeworld 2 is an awesome game though.

This is a high res screenshot thread so it is an expectation to see high resolution graphics. gameplay has no part in this thread.

no, it just means we can post pics larger than 800x600 of any game... ( not that that isn't high res, you could make a pic of commander keen and resize it to 1600x1200 and claim it's high res...)

I've never played Vietcong as it came out simultaneously with bf Vietnam or far cry ( one of the 2, can't recall which or I'm mistaken but there was some reason that I picked another game instead). Is it still worth playing? I don't mind older gfx but is it a good shooter I mean ?

I use xfire.

I seem to always get black sceens in all fullscreen games in vista when I try printscreen so always use fraps or xfire...

I've never played Vietcong as it came out simultaneously with bf Vietnam or far cry ( one of the 2, can't recall which or I'm mistaken but there was some reason that I picked another game instead). Is it still worth playing? I don't mind older gfx but is it a good shooter I mean ?

I'm really not that far into it and I didn't get much further last time. I got distracted by the awesome MP.

I've started on the highest difficulty and I'm starting to get extremely wound up by the super soldiers shooting me through vegetation, it's about on par with Farcry when it comes to nonsense like that. Other than that, it seems to be quite a good single player experience. I picked it up for £1.99 so no regrets

A superb game, I just completed it on 'normal' skill last night. It has a health system whereby when you get healed, you lose a tiny bit of available health... really a good incentive to not being shot!

It can feel a little plodding occasionally, following the pointman - but play it almost RPG style, get into character and its awesome!

Oh, and theres about 18-20 decent weapons to play with too.... Dragunov's, AK47, M16, M1 + scope, Tommy gun, grease gun, Mosin Nagant, SKS Simonov, M60, and M79 to name a few

ok cheers, I'll use fraps since it's installed anyway, how do you take screen shots with fraps though?
