It's not perfect, but imo it's the best hl2 mod. The release of 1.0 was brilliant, masses of fun to be had. With the latest update 1.1.1 it's less fun, as people just hit and run away instead of blocking. The next version 1.2 will be released in the near future though hopefully, and it seems they're reverting the combat system back to as it was in 1.0.
Try it out though, I find it's the best HL2 mod out, and it still has its awesome moments

Well its barely diff except slightly better aa.
Heres my settings mostly high (ok not maxed) but gives high textures and stuff and shaders. Just lowered shadows and no water geometry as it looks pap when on.
You just picked the wrong angles and pictures, the game looks terrible at some places while it looks superb in other...
I'm running these settings, it results in 25 fps on very heavy maps, and about 50 fps on most maps...
Don't stop I appreciate them.
Do you have any decent guides to getting started with Garrys Mod? Everytime I load it up I just sort of get lost in all of the options.

lyon those pics are fantastic. if only someone made a video of a scout singing "ding fries are done" on that mcdonalds map. hehe
