Quick post showing off my latest addition for FSX from Captain Sim, the elegant and classic 707. She's one of the best modelled a/c I have yet seen in FSX and nearly the best livery paints as well, but that honour still belongs to the UHDT range from McPhat (they just released WA3 for CS757, will post some shots soon).

no offence soya, but what do you get from the game?

i don't mean yourself personally but what do you do? fly around aimlessly or does the game give you missions or task to do in the game?

Any comparison shots somewhere of before and after? Is it worthwhile doing this?

I did fraps a few shots, but i actually put it back to 'almost' stock last night as the DX11 glitches started to pee me off.

I'm still messing and may just turn off DX11 and try the rest without etc.

I'll post some up later tonight when i'm back home.

It did look rather good, but i think the heat haze was a bit over done. just seemed a little too much at times.

FPS took a bit of a hit too.

Would be interested to see the shots, but may well wait to see if the DX11 patch is released. Might use the sun mod in the meantime, getting depressed with the constant gloomy darkness (even in the best weather)!

Its says on that forum linked to that he's fixed the light problem. Just tried his files and the game looks amazing and runs so much smoother.

Load time seem to be a bit better too.

Majority of the time FPS was above 40. But it was only time trial so more cars on track could lower that.

I'll be trying that later then. Looks even better than the last one... If the lighting issues are fixed its definitely a keeper.
