the strength of wows graphics is in the visual style, its a gorgeous game tbh and i dont even play!

WoW graphics are atrocious, they need a serious graphical engine revamp!

You have completely missed the point with WoW's graphics. They are intended to be stylised and allow even low spec PC's to play the game.

They also don't date as much as more modern detailed graphics as they don't start out trying to be ultra realistic. Personally I think they look great and unlike games such as AoC...etc all suffer from little or no lag.

I haven't played the game in ages and have played many MMO's. Blizzard nailed this one and made it very accessible to even the low-end PC user.

Although the engine is old I think WoW's graphics are at least in a style of their own, with a nice use of colour.

Also, WoW's graphics do look a bit pants, but then again, what can you expect from a game thats 5 years old and designed to look like they do. They still appeal to a lot of people and as said above.. work on low spec machines!

WoW could have photorealistic graphics running at a constant 60fps and they'd still get slagged off.

they theyd release a patch with top notch gfx theyd lose the players. the fact it runs on low spec pcs is whats helping it keep its user base and the gfx arnt bad as peeps are making out on this thread
