Crysis 1 was a story driven FPS, and yet managed to fit in an aweful lot of freedom.

Arknor, what spec/settings are you using in Shift 2? I can't get anywhere near 60fps on a quad and a 470 at 1920x1080 maxed.

all ingame settings maxed but i did turn blur off because to me blur adds nothing to the graphics..

2x aa forced with the nvidia inspector tweak, looks just as good as 4xaa does in this game imo so i settle for 2xaa
1920x1080 res
most the time im above 50fps but on some of the night tracks im down to 40fps.

AMD1055T + 4GB memory and a 460GTX 1gb card (driver settings for best iq)

yea it looks horrible something is making the images all grainy aswell probably tyhe blur.

hopefully these represent how the game should look a little more.

i think its much better than shift1 and i like it a lot.

if you use a wheel you have to fiddle a bit to get the right settings , theres some good guideline settings on some of the racing sim forums for most of the popular wheels.
