It didn't even feel like it was from Quake, it felt like a Doom 3 expansion pack but without all the demon stuff.

Look for the big steel barrels and throw them into the back of the red(?) container to the right in the screenshot you posted. I think you need about 4 barrels in there to tip it up

A bit late to reply but a 5850 and a Dell S2409W 1920x1080

The TR shot is from my XPS M1330 laptop, 8400GS 1280x800

That was Crisis 1 with no mods, mostly highest settings - 30fps at the least, very playable

I love Quake 1. I could never really get into Quake 2 when it came out - I didn't like all the alien futuristic setting - prefer the creepy medieval future setting and the portals etc of the first game.

Quake 4 will not play nicely for me no more. With AA it is crippling my frames yet i have a 2600k and 560ti SOC. LOL WUT?
