The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

:)

if you do enjoy building cars and i mean REALLY building them, this will be great to play

if you want to build a car you will need to get all the suspension, brakes, rims, correct tyres.. then you will be moving to engine which again has loads of parts - blocks/pistons/cranks/oil pans/turbos/tuning parts and all the mixture ratios etc..

same with body all of the parts are removable - obviously depends on how the modder has made the mod :) original cars are rubbish :) and the game was made in 2003 with little to no support after release from the devs so crashes/bugs etc are there

Nice one Grudas im on it like a car bonnet :p

arc@css, you really do love your STALKER games don't you?

:o :D

I find that a majority of other titles simply can't rival them for atmosphere and immersion. Without the copious amount of mods available, though, I would have moved on to something else ages ago. :)

I'm a sucker for an fps / rpg.

Here's a few more (excuse the lack of FXAA in some of the shots).

Is that a completely different map than normal CoP?

Although you need Call of Pripyat to play the mod, it focuses on certain areas from SOC / CS as well, while also delivering changes to the gameplay and storyline.

I'd say it's among one of the harder mods to battle through, such as People Soup and Misery were for me, but then it might simply be a case of the enemies being harder on master difficulty than usual. Very smooth, too, - none of the usual 'jerky' moments that Stalker usually gives. :)

Might well check out this mod next; watch the video on youtube for some big changes to the combat mechanics.
