I loved Ranger lead the way back in about 1998. Is the new one worth a purchase? (bearing in mind I still have Crysis 3 and Farcry 3 to complete)
 
I enjoyed spec ops I heard quite a bit about it and how it tried to do something a little different with the story and basically tried to make it more worth while than most generic shooters. Thought it was actually pretty decent in the end and mechanically it played really nicely as well. Nothing ground breaking in a cover based shooter but it felt pretty fluent. Has quite a few endings as well, I had to wiki them to see what the others were.
 
Just completed the first run through, for the price it is its definitely worth picking up (think I saw it for £5 on the deals thread). I got it with the bioshock pre-order deal on greenman though.
 
And another for good measure...I may or may not have just found out how easy it is to take screenshots with a pad when in big picture mode
