***The High-Res Screenshot Thread!***

Never heard of it until you mentioned it and yet another PS 4 title that I now want!!! :( :p

Probably my favourite franchise ever, feels oldschool in terms of mechanics but the combat is great and sidequests are properly hilarious;p It's a complete timesink with loads of content:D

IMO, totally worth grabbing a PS4 for, especially considering all the other great exclusives. PC&PS4 is a very nice combo.

It reminds me of sleeping dogs!

And yup, definitely wanting to pick up a ps 4 pro at some point but want to wait for a good deal and see if sony push/improve their streaming service for the PC first.

Ok, now that I've got a bit further in unity, yup, it is very good! The UI makes things a bit awkward though, syndicate was far better in this regard.

Still can't believe the detail put into the game, you really need to play/watch clips of it just to get a feel of how immersive the game world is, stunning

Also, it has got a bit more brutal in some ways too:

:p

Just a shame that I can't find any good sweetfx configs (that don't over blow the colours and remove detail), which work in windows 10.

Nice Unity shots again:) I've just remembered yet another thing it does better than Syndicate - it has loads of interiors and many with multiple floors, whereas Syndicate hardly has any. It really adds to the immersion.

The textures on Ultra seem to be better as well, even though Syndicate's looked very realistic from a distance. The game looks more realistic in general. I'll try to upload some shots of my own once I have the time to play.

The Hunter looks spectacular as well, makes me want to try it for the graphics alone.

Noticed that too with regards to interiors, definitely a lot more than syndicate.

That is one thing that most of these open world games lack big time, look beautiful when outside but not being able to go in to nice looking buildings is a bummer. Can't wait for the next batman arkham game just for this, supposedly they have vastly improved this.

That is the only thing, which I can fault with unity + syndciate, the draw distance. It is quite poor but then again, they had to make sacrifices somewhere to get as much crammed in as they did whilst still having acceptable performance and during gameplay, the low draw distance isn't really that noticeable anyway, especially with unity since a lot of the streets etc. are very crammed together and have lots of objects + NPCs to somewhat distract you.

Think I have textures on max along with everything else (except aa), no HBAO+ or nvidia's shadow stuff though as it kills the performance + the HBAO+ effect isn't realistic at all and can ruin IQ in some parts by creating fake shadows when it shouldn't be.

TBH, thats why i bought the game myself, after seeing a lot of screenshots, but i actually like just walking around and exploring, and seeing the wildlife.

Sorry but is it the same game that I played years ago which was Free 2 Play? remember playing a hunting game with micro transactions but it didn't look as good as that!

The red head in this game ain't bad at all :p

Was walking down a lovely street only to see a massive crowd gathering around for a good old beheading, this game...

Because after patching it's not a bad game at all. Quite the contrary. The graphics are still superb and the attention to detail is mind-boggling. I can honestly say it looks a lot better than Syndicate and the climbing/combat mechanics simply crap on that game.

It's also a lot darker and Arno, while not the best, is IMO a better character than the Victorian comedy duo.

Syndicate was a nice game but the combat and climbing felt pretty bad. I love Victorian London but it wasn't as well realised as I had hoped so Unity wins on the setting as well.

Yup I avoided it at launch due to all the issues as well as reports of terrible performance but in my play through so far, not had any issues and performance has been great for me (considering the detail of the game).

Unfortunately that seems to be the way to do PC gaming these days now, wait at least 6 months until the game has been patched and working more or less as it should have been on day 1 :(

I think syndicate and unity are pretty much the same for the graphics tbh, at first I thought syndicate was better but unity looks just as good really although in terms of the NPCs and detail put into the world, unity definitely has the edge. However, syndicate looks horrible without any sweetfx.... Unity could do with a sweetfx config for some SSAA as well as to add a bit of sharpness but nothing out there that doesn't have blown out colours and that works with w10.
