What a game Duke Nukem 3d was. The whole mid - late 90s was incredible for gaming.
Rise of the Triad, Shadow Warrior, Blood, Duke 3d, Blood, Powerslave. I think it was called the Build engine that was used to create a few of them

I find it quite frustrating at standard. I use a gameplay patch now and it plays far better. My main gripe is how biased the ref is towards the cpu team. They literally kick hell out of you and pull you back when clean through on goal but nothing is ever given. Then, if you slightly bump one of theirs, they are instantly given a free kick.

I use the EvoWeb patch as a base which includes the option file, all high quality kits and faces. Then I use Sider to add unlimited stadiums, abboards, etc, all teams proper entrance music and crowd chants which hugely adds to the overall atmosphere.

For better or for worse, it's almost like a completely different game now.

They've seamlessly integrated NPCs into the main storyline and throughout the world, so it feels a lot more like a traditional Fallout now.

Personally, I prefer it now.

I Would even give it an 8, but there's still a few bugs and further integration work needed to add polish to it all.

Either way, it's being constantly updated due to being online only, so I'm confident lots more positive things will happen sooner rather than later now that they've agreed to change direction on the whole project.

Prepar3D V5 beta - Using 3rd party Wales scenery, as the stock database makes Snowdonia tropical!! The new DX12 engine makes the textures sharper and everything much more slicker. My Oculus Rift CV1 just about stutters with a RX580 card, although I am going low level at 450-600kts!!

ESO Online. Beautiful and Rich game. Best 12 quid I've spent. Everything is voice acted. Exploration is fun. Got a fun little ocuk guild.
