Lost access to my AC Odyssey save games after changing versions between Ubisoft and Steam, so decided to play Witcher 3 instead.

Completed it in one sitting and tbh thought it was bit of a pound shop SOTTR, graphics are decent though.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

I don't have a good enough graphics card to crank up the settings on this game, but I do love how big the environments are. Fantastic sense of scale of a hive city.

Never looked into that game as always thought of Warhammer as RTS lol, going to have to check out a few reviews on the tube as that looks pretty cool.

Deliver Us the Moon for £1.60 something on Kinguin.

Quite a cool little game. the Zero G space parts are gnarly lol. Has raytracing, set all to Epic and no issues. Needed DLSS Quality to get over ~120fps otherwise it's around 60fps.

Such a great game that and one where RT reflections adds to the game. Can't wait for deliver us mars in Feb

I did see Mars too, £15 on CDkeys so I shall be getting that lol. But yeah the RT reflections are really nice, just wish it also did RTGI or even SSGI as there appears to be no real GI for the torch implemented like in other third person games (Uncharted etc).

Still, the level of detail on all the stuff floating about on the station is immense and on ultrawide curved you get a feeling of disorientation as you rotate yourself around

I like Skyrim, but I always found the backdrop to be cold and lifeless. Perhaps they designed it that way for whatever reason, but it still refuses to make any sense to me. It also doesn't seem to make any difference in how many mods you add.

Compared to TES IV Oblivion, for example, even with its somewhat outdated visuals and no life visible on screen, I can almost instantly spot the difference.

Here's a Skyrim image with apparently a large number of mods, for comparison. Although it's not as clear, but I can still see a difference. I just don't get it.

In keeping with trying out some older games, got Ride 4 cheap and gave it a quick blast. Not too bad, visually stunning in motion, and another Unreal 4 title with no stuttering (Deliver us the moon was the same) so quite pleased with that too.Not my kinda game the way the controls feel though even with a gamepad.

Best seen in motion with no HUD though

Nice. Try TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2. It's similar but the controls feel a lot better to me
