***The High-Res Screenshot Thread!***

Dark Souls 2 DLC Crown Of the Sunken King - out today on Steam.

Spoilers if you do not want to see a later area in the game do not click!

2560x1080 21:9 aspect ratio with Flawless Widescreen played in Steam Offline mode to avoid the possible VAC ban  as fixing the aspect ratio @ 21:9 is classed as a mod apparently

I remember when I first loaded up fallout 3 Wow! this is a good looking game and was a great play to but the graphics look very out of date now. Close up textures are very poor. I just hope they make the effort and do a better job on Fallout 4.

That certainly looks demanding but looks very nice, looking forward to playing through it. Currently playing Clear Sky and I'm loving it, I think I actually prefer it to Shoc. I'll upload some screenshots later if I can.

Thanks. :)

It certainly is making my 7970 creak a bit. :D

Can't wait to see your CS shots. If the last ones are anything to go by, they will look excellent.

Thanks for the kind words mate :), Unfortunately they wont have that sweet DoF that comes with ENB Aurora but they should still look appealing to feast one's eyes on.

You're welcome. :)

What makes me chuckle, is that for everyday game scenarios my 7970 @ 1200p is almost always more than enough; however, when it comes to stalker + mods, which aren't obviously optimized for commercial development, I find that in some instances I'm usually after a bit more performance.....say 10 - 15 frames extra to bolster the minimum fps. :D

The mods 'Misery 2' and Lost Alpha are good examples of that.

Indeed, Take Stalker Shoc, released in 2007 coupled with AA2 + ENB makes a modern high end computer sweat like its running the latest games at maximum settings. Although in its defense it more than makes up for it with the quality and how the modding community take stalker from being a decent game to a very memorable experience.
